Raiding like a Sir!…2 Part 4 – Hog Raid

 

 

After the recent patch, this tactic is not as powerful as it once was, but success is still to be had with the aid of spells. You need at least 20 hogs and at least two Healing Spells. Scout the base out and look for area that is not too far from the defenses and try to predict where giant bombs will be and how to avoid them. Drop in one hog to trigger traps then moments after the rest….usually hogs will split in two directions as they take on the defences, so drop a healing spell so they are just jumping into them and will be in the maximum amount of time. Finally send in barbs to speed up the destruction and start getting the loot! Done well this can easily get the full three stars, but in my experience 2 is more likely after the patch.
